Reliable Flow Monitoring for Industrial Liquids

The TFS-35 Thermal Flow Sensor provides accurate monitoring of liquid flow in industrial pipelines. This compact sensor measures both flow rate and temperature inside the pipe. Many industrial systems rely on this device to monitor cooling, lubrication, and filling processes.

The sensor installs directly into plastic or metal pipes. Once installed, it continuously monitors the movement of liquid media. Control systems then receive signals that reflect the current flow conditions.

Clear LED Bar Graph Flow Indication

The TFS-35 displays the measured flow rate through a five-segment green LED bar graph. Each LED represents a specific flow level. Operators can easily observe the flow condition without external instruments.

The sensor also allows users to select a switching limit for the output signal. When the flow reaches or drops below the selected limit, the sensor activates the output signal.

This feature helps protect equipment by triggering alarms or control actions when flow conditions change.

Optical Status Indication for Flow and Temperature

The sensor includes two additional LEDs that display flow and temperature status. An orange LED indicates the switching state for flow monitoring. A yellow LED shows the temperature output status.

These visual indicators allow technicians to quickly verify system performance during operation or maintenance.

Flexible Output Options for Automation Systems

The TFS-35 supports two output configurations. Users can select two PNP switching outputs or one PNP output combined with a 4–20 mA current output.

This flexibility allows easy integration with PLC systems and industrial automation controllers. The current output provides continuous measurement signals, while switching outputs support alarm or control functions.

Simple Configuration with Magnetic Pen

The sensor allows quick configuration using a magnetic programming pen. Technicians can adjust switching limits and operational settings without opening the device.

This contactless configuration method simplifies installation and reduces setup time in industrial environments.

Durable Stainless Steel Construction

The TFS-35 features a stainless steel housing that withstands harsh industrial environments. The robust design protects the sensor from corrosion, pressure, and mechanical stress.

The sensor supports process pressures up to 100 bar, which allows installation in demanding liquid systems.

Flexible Installation with Multiple Process Connections

The TFS-35 supports two connection options. Users can install the sensor using a G½ threaded connection or a Tri-Clamp Ø 50.5 mm connection.

These options allow quick installation in a wide variety of industrial pipelines.
