Non-Contact Radar Measurement for Industrial Tanks

The ARLM-54 Antenna Radar Level Meter delivers precise non-contact level measurement for liquids in industrial tanks and vessels. The device uses FMCW radar technology to measure the distance between the sensor and the liquid surface.

The sensor transmits radar waves toward the liquid surface. The reflected signal returns to the sensor. The system calculates the level based on the time and frequency change of the reflected signal.

This method ensures stable and accurate measurement without direct contact with the media. As a result, the sensor works well in demanding industrial environments.

Wide Measuring Range for Flexible Applications

The ARLM-54 supports two measuring ranges up to 8 meters or 20 meters. This flexibility allows installation in both small and large tanks.

The device also operates within a temperature range of −30°C to +70°C, which allows installation in outdoor or industrial environments.

Easy Installation and Robust Protection

The ARLM-54 supports flexible installation using either bottom or top threaded connections. This feature simplifies mounting in different tank configurations.

The sensor connects through a two-core cable, which simplifies electrical installation. Users can choose a standard cable gland or a gland designed for protective hoses, depending on installation requirements.

The device features a high protection rating of IP68, which protects the sensor from dust, moisture, and harsh environmental conditions.

Industrial Communication and Monitoring

The ARLM-54 provides a 4–20 mA output signal with HART® communication. Control systems use this signal to monitor tank levels and manage process automation.
